Honeymoon Beauty Tips

When planning a honeymoon, there’s one important factor that, as the bride, you will need to include, and that is your makeup and beauty routine. You’ll want to come up with a plan to streamline your “getting ready” time – nothing is more of a buzz kill for a guy than having to wait a long time for a woman to finish getting ready. Since it’s your honeymoon, you’ll want to keep the fun and the romance going, so you’ll want to simplify things by using some of these beauty tips so you can get ready quick and be on to the next outing.

The first thing to do is to make sure you have the right colors and shades of makeup that you want to have matching your outfits that you plan on wearing. If you plan on wearing black skirts or tops (say, for formal occasions) then it would be wise to pack dark, dark blue or light blue shades. These shades will give you a sophisticated, formal look and give an overall sex appeal to attract your husband during your nicer evenings out.

If you plan on bringing light outfits then it would be wise to pack lighter shades of makeup, and lighter products. For instance, if you and your husband are going to go snorkeling, or to the beach, pack easy, beachy colors of makeup and do a lighter, more natural look since you’ll probably be getting in the water anyway.

When packing your makeup remember some of these key travel beauty tips. One good tip you can utilize is keeping your makeup together in a bag. If you can bring just enough to keep all your products in one simple bag, it won’t take over the bathroom in your hotel. Furthermore, simplifying the products you bring can help decrease the amount of time required to get ready for outings or nights out going to dinner or what ever occasion you plan. Also research the current rules and regulations of the airlines if you are flying to your destination. Remember that you may have to pack most of your items in a checked back since they aren’t allowed in carry-on items.

A few additional things to keep in mind involve your makeup looks, clothing coordination and complexion consideration. The looks can vary depending on the outfits chosen. Although looks go hand in hand with styles, you want to make sure that your look compliments your appearance. There are many ways to achieve this, including packing clothes that will make a positive statement. For example, if you honeymoon in a tropical paradise you don’t want to look like a tourist. What you’ll want to do is bring makeup that will compliment your natural beauty and highlights. So if you have a fair complexion then using light makeup will be best.
